Speaking of interesting historical context, check out Insider Magazine on U.S. District Judge Mark Fuller, who oversaw the prosecution of former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman.
Insider is an online investigative journal, and it has unearthed information that indicates Fuller has connections to drug running.
The article states that Siegelman, in his role as Alabama secretary of state (1979-87) and attorney general (1987-91), registered corporations and oversaw criminal investigations. During this time, Insider states, Siegelman uncovered evidence linking Fuller and other top Alabama and Florida Republicans to drug running and the beginning of election manipulation in Alabama, favoring the GOP.
Insider's story touches on the Reagan "War on Drugs" in the 1980s and the mail bomb that killed federal judge Robert Vance, a Jimmy Carter appointee. And Insider ties it all in with the Siegelman case. Fascinating stuff.
....You're an idiot.
ReplyDeletewow. It's amazing how difficult it is to tell whether this guy really has the goods, or whether he's the most paranoid journalist since Thompson on meth.
ReplyDeletePerhaps he's an extremely paranoid journalist with some of the goods.
