And it’s not only the ecosystem but the future health and livelihoods of the Gulf’s inhabitants and possibly those of the entire southern parts of the USA. – Not to mention innocent people elsewhere, which the deadly toxins might affect, as is being postulated currently.

http://just-me-in-t.blogspot.com/2010/06/courage-to-change.html~~Just Me in T~~https://www.blogger.com/profile/12688756480412704251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-50017151580460535982010-06-17T21:59:30.802-05:002010-06-17T21:59:30.802-05:00If there is no "man-made" resolution to ...If there is no "man-made" resolution to stop the oil from spilling into the Gulf, we'd better hope that God is willing to hear our prayers. And it's probably a good idea to focus on restoring Earth's ecosystems over and above the loss of wages or income because everyone is held accountable in like measure to their intent and actions. BP put profit before safety, profit before human life, and profit before the health and well being of the ocean. To quote a recent movie, "You can take a man out of a fish, but you can't take the fish out of the water."
http://itybityurl.com/11344Christa Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08887807124852151962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-40209498981479341082010-06-14T15:58:29.399-05:002010-06-14T15:58:29.399-05:00If more Protestant preachers would encourage their...If more Protestant preachers would encourage their church members to say prayers like that one and at the same time get all of the numerous congregations to organize the way the Catholics do, I might think about coming back to Church.

The problem with Southern Protestant churches is that they are only effective in playing on the concerns and fears of their members at the local level to raise enough cash to pay the salaries of one or two charismatic preachers or ministers.

I'm glad that the Catholic Church has a huge presence on the Gulf Coast because I don't think the Protestants have the organization to deal with this. The only problem is that The Catholic Church owns much of the upland that is leased to oil companies and Rome gets a significant amount of royalty income from BP and the other oil and gas giants. If you don't believe me, just ask my ex-boss Alabama Lawyer James Hillman Griggs who was the Catholic Church's oil and gas lawyer at the Archdiocese of Mobile before he went to work for The State of Alabama. Many Protestant church leaders are also oil and gas tycoons, so don't go looking to The Church for too many answers as they depend on the oil and gas industry to pay their preachers and finance the church buildings and missionary work.Robby Scott Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08625575128616865817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-91187225537086732062010-06-14T07:58:57.756-05:002010-06-14T07:58:57.756-05:00Since our nation is owned by BP and others hoping ...Since our nation is owned by BP and others hoping for a positive outcome is just hoping.
When this oil spill reaches other countries maybe just maybe they will take the problem to the World Court.WDRussellhttp://wdrforoh.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-82198543129187878032010-06-14T05:52:33.921-05:002010-06-14T05:52:33.921-05:00Here's the same crew, baptizing during a torna...Here's the same crew, baptizing during a tornado warning:

http://blog.al.com/living-news/2009/05/tornado_threat_cant_stop_alaba.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
