Bentley paid Joe Espy $24,758 last year. 90% of his practice is devoted to litigation.
Coincidentally, Bentley also paid Rebekah Mason over $76,000. I'm sure she got a lot more than that from the "Alabama Council for Excellent Government."
And her husband is a former small town weatherman who was SOMEHOW chosen to run a state agency for BIG bucks.
December 2015 Payments by Payee
Total Payments: $12,074.55
Payee Amount Paid
JONATHAN P MASON $12,074.55
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-74679255342400954802016-01-14T09:24:06.354-06:002016-01-14T09:24:06.354-06:00What a deviate governor we have!!!What a deviate governor we have!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-49400220295619256032016-01-14T00:10:49.068-06:002016-01-14T00:10:49.068-06:00if this weren't so serious, it would be funny....if this weren't so serious, it would be funny. in a state which doesn't have a lot of spare change and a lot of poverty, you have a governor who lost 2 beach houses in a divorce, "suddenly" renovating a "governor's retreat" 'which sat empty for almost 20 yrs, with money which is meant for something else.

So if Siegleman was sent to jail for something which wasn't against the law at the time, why isn't this guy going to trail for something, which is against the law, right now. Like who is dumb enough to use state funds for "personal" reasons. O.K. it might not meet the criminal standards, but certainly for civil standards. Perhaps some of those who didn't receive "full" compensation for their looses during the oil spill might want to consider suing the governor for the money he is blowing on the house.

Don't care what he says, if it looks like a duck quacks like a duck, ya, its duck or in this case, using government funds for personal reasons. and who these days puts a house on the beach with increasing sea levels and nasty storms. Oh, right some body from Alabama, not the brightest bunch in the country.

thank god for your blog. there is nothing on t.v. as good as this.

Nice to see MSM covering some of this now.e.a.f.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-76169580493371208362016-01-13T11:44:30.959-06:002016-01-13T11:44:30.959-06:00Meanwhile, Siegelman gets kicked in the teeth for ...Meanwhile, Siegelman gets kicked in the teeth for exercising his rights to appeal his conviction and gets compared to Hubbard by Archibald.
