For one, the Brittain...I don't see it that way. For one, the Brittain family invited them to get involved, and they accepted the invitation. Two, we clearly need reform in policing. Many Americans seem resistant to defunding the police, and that might not be the best answer, anyway. I'm not an expert on the provisions in the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, but Crump seems to support it, and I'd say he's an expert on these issues, so his judgment matters to me. I don't see him as being an opportunist. I see it as trying to do something positive for your country--to see a problem and seek a solution.legalschnauzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09619089628125964154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-30119124904412877332021-07-20T12:56:30.702-05:002021-07-20T12:56:30.702-05:00Is it possible Sharpton and Crump are opportunists...Is it possible Sharpton and Crump are opportunists?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-16174610273704646382021-07-20T11:02:53.974-05:002021-07-20T11:02:53.974-05:00Hopefully, Ben Crump's presence will help ensu...Hopefully, Ben Crump's presence will help ensure the Brittain family gets significant justice on the civil side. A gunshot can go a few inches either way and lead from control to death. It seems too many cops just grab a gun as first choice and don't consider the consequences -- or maybe they don't care about the consequences.legalschnauzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09619089628125964154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-32985538512747316812021-07-20T10:57:44.611-05:002021-07-20T10:57:44.611-05:00Agreed. If you are trying to get someone under control, or if you fear for your life or safety, three gunshots should not be necessary to address those issues. legalschnauzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09619089628125964154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-78593394365914800722021-07-20T10:55:47.389-05:002021-07-20T10:55:47.389-05:00If you shoot somebody three times, it seems to me ...If you shoot somebody three times, it seems to me you are trying to kill him. In that case, the cop was cleared criminally, although the investigator noted the shooting could have been avoided. An attorney from Independence, MO, has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Fizer family. legalschnauzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09619089628125964154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-64276852452798100222021-07-20T10:50:12.579-05:002021-07-20T10:50:12.579-05:00I don't have much faith in police investigatin...I don't have much faith in police investigating police.
