In order to duplicate the "simulation" that he provided, several one-in-a-billion events must happen, in order, with no variance. Even if they were to happen, the fact remains that other vehicle manufacturers' systems can be 'fooled' by exactly the same processes, yet Gilbert claims that this explains the Toyota situation. Why then don't we hear about it on every vehicle, since every car on the road today uses an almost identical system? What Gilbert has shown is that he is greedy for attention, and he deserves to deal with the consequences of his actions.Rick Donianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-73859181360316050072010-07-23T02:30:50.607-05:002010-07-23T02:30:50.607-05:00Hmm! the subject is looking full of interesting ne...Hmm! the subject is looking full of interesting news. What about the injustices perpetrated upon defendants and whistleblowers?
AG Secretary Tom Vilsack is quoted as saying, "She's been put through hell and I could have done, and should have done, a better job." White House spokesman Robert Gibbs described the situation an "injustice" and apologized on behalf of the entire Obama Administration.
In the Department of Justice, the silence is deafening. The injustices perpetrated by the U.S. Department of Justice continue. While Bush-era political appointee Leura Canary continues to accrue time in federal service toward ful federal retirement benefits, political prisoners continue to suffer. Shame on the Obama Administration and Attorney General Eric Holder for these injustices could not continue on their watch without their support. AG Secretary Vilsack did the right thing by his admission that an injustice had occurred, one in which he could have, and should have done a better job.
Note to the White House: Many have been "put through hell" by selective and political prosecutions. Many have suffered and continue to suffer without a voice, a fair trial or any due process at all. When is something going to be done for these victims? Where are the apologies to these victims who have been put through hell for a lot longer than 2 days?Tamarah Grimesnoreply@blogger.com
