And it's to be expected that Luther likely will prevail, as he and Riley have prevailed with the AL Sup. Ct. for 6-7 years. If that happens again, one can only assume that certain justices (maybe all of them) are bought off by Indian gaming interests--as both Luther and Riley have been.

Still not sure what got into Shashy to actually make a legally sound and correct finding. Also not sure why it took so long to come to his conclusion.

Has something happened behind the scenes that caused Shashy to rule as he did--and will that same "something" cause the high court to finally abandon Luther? I think that's the big question surrounding this case.legalschnauzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09619089628125964154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-38350685044834140472015-06-26T13:22:06.410-05:002015-06-26T13:22:06.410-05:00I hear Luther already has filed an appeal with the...I hear Luther already has filed an appeal with the whores on the Alabama Supreme Court.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-1110110555374854052015-06-26T13:05:11.759-05:002015-06-26T13:05:11.759-05:00This ruling sends out a very loud and very clear w...This ruling sends out a very loud and very clear wrong message for the government. See the problem for the government is it is entering into a danger zone when the voice and will of the people over rides the special interest who have paid off, taken over our government. It is clear to us common people that local voters understood and wanted Victory Land in their community. It was only the big money special interest who are calling the shots in our government that did not want Victory Land. This ruling gives me hope that just maybe the rule of law over rides the wishes of big money special interest. Hell, maybe one day we can legally use a plant that the Good Lord gave us to treat our own health problems without having to spend major bucks to the big pham companies who make billions while poisoning the millions who are in pain. A great day for the little man/women, bad day for big government. I just pray it's not too little too late for the voice of the people to count anymore.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3669412675139526125.post-59120468074727942352015-06-25T20:27:36.779-05:002015-06-25T20:27:36.779-05:00That's the way I read it, @8:19. The ruling is based in part on a case from 1911 and from words that have been etched in the Supreme Court building for a long time. So why the delay?
