Our posts about Judge Bill Pryor's ties to 1990s gay pornography have gone viral, thanks to Trump election -- and now, a second nude Pryor photo has surfaced

U.S. Judge Bill Pryor
(WARNING: This report includes a higher-resolution version of the Bill Pryor photo we first ran in fall 2013, not long before my arrest in Shelby County, Alabama. The photo we originally ran was from a scan of a paper copy. The new version has appeared at two gay-porn Web sites (at least) and is of significantly higher quality than the original. We have redacted the photo (blurred the genitals) so as to ease any concerns about full-frontal nudity. The redacted, higher-resolution photo is at the end of this post.)

Our reports on nude photographs of federal judge Bill Pryor, which appeared at a prominent gay-pornography Web site in the 1990s, spread rapidly around the Web yesterday, apparently because Pryor is on President-elect Donald Trump's list of potential U.S. Supreme Court nominees.

That suggests news is red hot if it involves a whack job or hypocrite who might be appointed by Trump. We're not sure if Pryor is a whack job, but as a virulently anti-gay politico from Alabama, he certainly is a hypocrite of world-class dimensions.

Interest is not likely to cool down anytime soon because we recently received a second nude photograph of Pryor, and it appears to be from the same photo session -- while Pryor was a student at Northeast Louisiana University (now University of Louisiana Monroe), before going on to law school at Tulane University. The photos were presented to a veteran Alabama GOP political figure in the late 1990s, and he promptly exclaimed, "Holy cow, that's Bill Pryor! I'm meeting with him this afternoon!" A veteran female journalist in Birmingham had a similar reaction when she saw the photos.

Our original reports on the Pryor gay-porn story included one full-frontal image (we later found a "redacted" version with his genital region blacked out), plus two pages from "WizardBoy Gallery No. 19," which includes mostly head shots of 10 young men, including one who is listed as "Bill Pryor." A tagline at the gallery says, "Thanks, Ernie!" and we believe we have tracked down Ernie's identity. The photos apparently were taken in the 1980s and were published in several print publications before finding their way to the Web at badpuppy.com, which has grown to become a "super store" of gay-porn images.

The full set of Pryor photos includes 8-12 images, but we've only had the one image, which became an Internet sensation yesterday. Our Pryor photo file increased a few weeks back when a reader from Oakland, California, sent me a second image of Pryor -- in a slightly different pose, but in lighting and a setting (with similar photographic techniques) that suggest the picture is from the same session that produced the first Pryor photo.

We've tracked the second image to at least two Tumblr sites, which both appear to originate in Europe. Our research on the photo is continuing, but I am convinced that it is of a young U.S. Judge Bill Pryor, and once our due diligence is complete, we will be running the picture (unless something indicates the photo isn't legit, and I see no sign of that now). That could come in a matter of days.

Our blog traffic yesterday skyrocketed, coming from big hitters like Facebook and Reddit, plus a variety of other sites --abovethelaw.comnewnownext.compopjustice.com the gailygrind.com, occupydemocrats.com, disqus.com, pinknews.co.uk, and towleroad.com.

The piece at TowleRoad is titled "SCOTUS: Cruz Is Out, But Trump Might Appoint Homophobic Judge Who Allegedly Posed for Gay Adult Photos." From reporter Sean Mandell:

Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said on Wednesday that president-elect Trump will stick to its previously announced list of SCOTUS appointees when it comes to naming Antonin Scalia’s replacement–a list that does not include Ted Cruz but does include William Pryor, a virulently anti-gay judge who is rumored to have posed for gay adult photographs.

Trump’s campaign released its initial list of potential SCOTUS picks in May, which included Pryor. The campaigned then added another 10 names to that list in September. . . .

The list of 21, much like the leaked short list of Trump’s potential cabinet appointees, is a who’s who of bigots who would be dangerous to the LGBT community if put on the Court.

Pryor has been getting heaps of attention given his staunchly anti-LGBT positions — he defended Texas’ anti-sodomy law, compared homosexuality to pedophilia, and has been called the “most demonstrably antigay judicial nominee in recent memory” by Lambda Legal — and because he allegedly posed for pornographic photos intended for gay men while he was in college.

Pryor probably is high on the list of 21 because of his close (and I do mean close) ties to U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), who reportedly has his pick of cabinet posts in a Trump administration.

As for us, we've had our fair share of honors and attention since Legal Schnauzer started in June 2007. We were ranked among the top 50 law blogs in North America (No. 37, with a bullet, we think), according to a survey by a Chicago-based media-relations software and research company called Cision. We were the only truly independent blog on the list, not tied to any law firm, law school, justice-related organization, or media company. In fall 2013, I was unlawfully arrested and sent to jail for five months because of my reporting on court corruption in Alabama, and that story received international attention. I'm the only U.S. journalist to be incarcerated since 2006. and apparently the only one in U.S. history to be arrested because of an unlawful preliminary-injunction in a case of alleged defamation.

I'm not sure how you know when something has "gone viral" on the Web, but Legal Schnauzer has received more than 35,000 page views in less than 48 hours. My memory is that we've reached one-day highs of 10,000 or so page views, and I think we've hit that several times -- maybe a half dozen or more. But 32,000 page views in roughly one day is an awful lot for any blog that doesn't regularly feature celebrity news or pornography. By our standards, at a blog focusing on legal and court-related corruption, the Pryor posts, I'd say, have gone viral.

(Note: These numbers are from the more "conservative" of two stat services that I use. The other tends to produce numbers that are roughly twice those of the first service. In the past two days, however, the "liberal" stat service has gone crazy. It says we had more than 157,000 page views yesterday and more than 135,000 -- and counting -- today. Not sure what explains the different numbers between the two stat services. The second one is Google based, as is my blog platform. The first one is independent of the blog platform.)

We might soon have a second Pryor-porn photo, just as Donald Trump could be set to nominate him to replace the late Antonin Scalia on the nation's highest court.

A second ride on the Pryor porn merry-go-round. All aboard!

This should be fun.

I can see Bill's tallywhacker real clear now!

A nice clear view of Bill Pryor's junk. Just what I needed to start the day.

Schnauzer, you've got to know your "warning" is going to cause people to scroll to the bottom as fast as they can!

legalschnauzer said...

Hah, you're probably right, Chuckles. Pretty ingenious Web marketing on my part, don't you think?

I appreciate the humor folks find in this, but there is a potentially major issue here. If Pryor failed to disclose this information to the FBI and U.S. Senate during his confirmation, he could be in deep trouble. He could not only be removed from Trump's list of 21, he could be removed from the bench altogether.

Anonymous said...

Damn. That warning is like a car wreck. Even though I know I shouldn't look I still did. I can't "unsee" that for quite while. Ugh..

Thanks so much LS!!! ;-)

Isn't it a crime to lie to the FBI or Congress?

legalschnauzer said...

Yes, it is a crime. One of the most recent examples was the case of retired U.S. Gen. James Cartwright:

legalschnauzer said...

Important info from reuters article about Cartwright false-statements case:

Federal prosecutors declined to comment on the hearing. A false statements conviction carries a maximum prison sentence of five years, but prosecutors and Cartwright's attorneys agreed his offense merited a sentence ranging from zero to six months.

Several gay guys I know say Pryor is involved with Roy Moore. But you claim he's close to Sessions? Politicians indeed make strange bedfellows.

Is the age of Pryor in the picture confirmed. I'd hate for him to be under 18 in that picture

I liked the pic, actually. Pretty decent cock.

State of Alabama's U.S 11th Circuit Judge Bill Pryor's tallywhacker while true in itself is a moral concern; and, too, the same noticeably missing from being apart of Sessions' and Pryor's officially sworn unto under oath transcripts before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee that Pryor be confirmed his nomination.

[01] But, then the former Alabama Attorney General Jeff Sessions never revealed misuse and-or abuse of his elected office's, and assistant's Bill Pryor's office's, duties involving unknown the number of man-hours, expenses, illegally paid for out of state and federal funds while serving under governor Fob James to use federal agents to do a hatchet job, character assassination on believed James' upcoming opponent, Jim Folsom, Jr.[D] [02] subsequently thereafter Alabama Attorney General Bill Pryor after Siegelman's win over James' undertook personally with outside aid supported by Sessions', encouraged by Karl Rove and his friends to undermine Siegelman's 2002 re-election. In one county only, Baldwin, supposedly from where both Sessions and Pryor are from, as result of ballot box tampering, Pryor sealing the ballot boxes from automatic re-count by Secretary of State gave the governorship to Bob Riley [R] [03] neither Sessions or Pryor revealed the criminal cover ups involving the shotgun assassination of a black Alabama Law Enforcement Officer [04] the covering up of the hanging death of a 17 year old black male high school student [05] the execution style murders of two 17 year old female high school students evidences of officials with contraband with teenagers [06] the murdering of two attorneys who moved to attempt to intervene in exposing corruption.

Should these two men, from our State of Alabama, be allowed to become nominated and approved to participate in "we the people's" next presidential government; I suggest ultimately the blame rest at the doorsteps of Alabama's mainstream media, for many have been cognizant, but been politically mute. Soon, destiny, if not resolved now, by "we the people" may dump all these and more back in all Alabamians laps for being irresponsible that the nation would be allowed to be represented nationally-internationally by those engaged in any way aforementioned.

President-elect Trump administration cannot claim ignorance as an escape from knowledge after Trump's close confidant having been provided documented proves of same, too in support of pardon for Governor Don Siegelman during meeting in Washington earlier this week.

So, where are the Bill Britts, the Donald Watkins, the Alabama media, major bloggers, the national media?

@1:55 -- Pryor was in college at NE Louisiana, so that probably puts him in the 18-22 age range. In the few statements Pryor made to me, he never claimed he was under-age in the photo. He did claim it wasn't him, but he turned down multiple attempts at interviewing him on the subject. When his office received inquiries from other media members, he referred them to a former aide who issued a written statement.

legalschnauzer said...

On the serious side of things, here are some possible issues related to Pryor's porn photos. This is from our original post on the subject:

What is the public to make of revelations that Pryor once was featured on a gay porn Web site? It clearly raises questions about rank hypocrisy, dating to the beginnings of Pryor's political career. It also raises the specter of Pryor being ethically compromised to the point that he is the victim of not-so-subtle blackmail, forced to participate in rulings that he knows are unlawful, at risk of his secrets being revealed. Most importantly, federal nominees typically are asked during the confirmation process about potentially embarrassing or compromising information in their backgrounds. If Pryor failed to disclose the gay-porn photographs, or did not answer a specific question truthfully under oath, it could be grounds for a Senate investigation.

Quiet sometime ago there was a post about blackmail involving Pryor, could the following be what was referenced to? During a private citizen's ethics complaint investigation, without advance notice or expectation two of Pryor's investigators appeared; their purpose being even back then was wanting to know where were the black books located? But, due their arrogances prior to and during meeting both left without answers sought after. Whatever any results which could have been concluded from an ethics investigation.........will never be known of, because thereafter one never went forward.

I support Pryer 100%. One of the best judges on the bench. I've appeared before him several times. Courteous, knowledgeable, and very fair.

Anonymous said...

Pryer is not interested in what is true and what is false or in what is good and what is evil. In fact, those distinctions have no meaning to him whatsoever. The only thing that has any meaning to Proctor is totalism. Why? consider that we must do everything we can to promote trust, a questioning attitude, and a receptiveness to raising issues.

Anonymous said...

Pryer I think has exposed himself over and over again as a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for black people or the black culture.... I'm not saying he doesn't like black people, I'm saying he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.

Anonymous said...

Pryer's not going to be rounding up Jews and exterminating them. It is the same tactic, however. The goal is different. The goal is globalization. They must silence all dissenting voices. That's what Hitler did. That's what Pryer, the U.N., and everybody on the global warming bandwagon are doing.

Reports claim that Bentley may bring Mrs. Mason back to state government
bentley-affair By Brandon Moseley Alabama Political Reporter

"Doudna said that a source had told him that Mason may be back or soon be rehired to work with the governor’s office, (the exact same report that APR had been given) an angry Bentley became unhinged."

legalschnauzer said...

Yes, I've seen that, @1:33. Thanks for sharing. Looks to me like the objectionable material has nothing to do with nudity. It has everything to do with accurate reporting about Bill Pryor's past.

legalschnauzer said...

@1:17 -- Your comment doesn't seem to square with reality. You say you've appeared before him several times, but he is on the 11th Circuit, an appellate court that very rarely grants oral arguments where an attorney would appear before him.

Can you cite the cases where you have appeared before Pryor? I would like to see what they are about.

legalschnauzer said...

@11:52 -- I suspect this is a glimpse into what life will be like in TrumpWorld if Americans do not stand up for their constitutional rights. There is all kind of nudity on Google platforms, not to mention blogs about white supremacy and other unsavory topics. Whatever complaint was lodged is about politics and a lame attempt at censorship. Someone is trying to block accurate and constitutionally protected reporting on Bill Pryor. Trump already has made statements that suggest he will attack the First Amendment, so people had better start paying attention.

Anonymous said...

There is something fundamentally wrong with Alabamian's priorities when the issues involving the governor's daydreaming about his confidant's breast and the former attorney general's full nudity exposing of his ding-dong run unbridled in blogging worlds and somewhat medias............... Yet a teenage boy can be left to hang to death alone in an isolated park and nobody gives a shit; a police officer can be shot point blank range with sawed off 12 gauge double barrel shotgun in front of wife and two children and again nobody cares; my God, where is the media, where is all the hue and cry rising up from all those claiming to be advocates for the poor and minorities; standard barriers for JUSTICE? The list has grown on and on because of muteness by those with platforms choosing to keep the public ignorant of fact based events. May have been because of just these same medias silences that caused two 17 year old teenage girls to pocket audio officials engaged with teenagers and contraband attempting to get to federal authorities that got them murdered execution style. And all the while continuous efforts and attempts reaching out for help from Sessions and Pryor, both refused to ever respond in any fashion.
Less we forget Pryor being underling of Sessions, and subsequently their political persecution of Siegelman, denying him re-election, when believed win 2006, unlawfully imprisoned him. Bad Puppy has gone viral, yes..........how much longer before someone outside state of Alabama is going well beyond in discovery and make national and internationally public fools out of Alabama media, that their own state's private citizen's has been encumbered to attempt to seek out justices having been denied. Sessions appointed U.S. Attorney General with aforementioned judicial baggage, the public, nationally upon learning will demand explanations.... starting maybe with Bentley, probably Strange since he fired two of his people who wanted to get involved in pursuing these cases, and so on, and the dog and pony show grand jury show that Strange said concluded without finding anything "Wrong doing". Does Trump even know the baggage he is allowing by Sessions past joining up with his administration? Does any media really care enough to get involved?

e.a.f. said...

It sort of makes sense to appoint Pryor, the Trumpster was accused of sexual assault by approx. 9 women during the election campaign. Its sort of like sexual fun and games that some of these boys play.

There does appear to be a turn around from posing for gay porn and then being so anti gay, must be sort of like there is nothing worse than a reformed whore except maybe a reformed smoker.

Good Luck AMERICA AND AMERICANS with this new government.

oh well Stephen Corbett suggested we not body shame politicians but that Canada's prime minister didn't have to worry, he was the best look in the world.

Memo to 12:44 --

Even Bill Pryor has not said he was a minor when this photo was taken. What makes you think he was a minor, when even he has not said that? And the photo was first published three years ago.

FYI, it's a violation of state and federal law to file a false complaint to law enforcement. You are treading on thin ice, bub.

Feel free to contact me at (205) 381-5673 if you wish to discuss. But anyone who files a false complaint against me, or encourages others to do the same, will wish they hadn't -- I can assure you of that.

Plus, as I've reported here, law-enforcement officials have told me they traced the photo to Monroe, LA, where Pryor was a college student, and he was 18 or over.

You have no clue what you are talking about.

Anonymous said...

The photo isn't the judge. Not only has he explicity denied that it is himself, there is nothing to indicate it IS him, and the facial features and natural growth pattern of the hair on his head is different. That is something that does not alter with time.
The only thing to relate the two is a superficial resemblance and an apparent (since the photo is black and white) similarity of general complexion and hair color. Since the photo is black and white even that is not reliable.

The facial features are not the same at all. The hair parts do not match. The attempt to link them is perplexing, since there is exactly zero foundation for it.

legalschnauzer said...

@2:08 -- Nothing to indicate it is him? Um, multiple law enforcement officials who were involved in investigating the photo when it surfaced, said it is him and they traced it to Monroe, LA, where he went to college. I've reported that, if you would bother doing research. It's very easy to change the hair pattern by changing the part. What's not easy to change is the presence of strabismus (cross eyes) in both "Bill Pryor's." The facial features are on target, right down to the attached ears, which are quite uncommon.

Nice try, but you only are showing yourself to be a partisan hack/fool. Alabama GOP officials have known about these pictures of Pryor for years.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone have a school picture of the judge during the same time? I would like to see them side by side. No problem if he is gay or not, but major problem if he is lying about it. Could set up a possible blackmail case. Personally, the Senator has always acted a little gay in my view. No way I would go camping with either of the two. Has either one been involved with the boy scouts? No telling what may come out when this hits main street news.

Stay tuned to Legal Schnauzer, @10:34, and your requests will be answered -- and then some.

Anonymous said...

It's flatly false that any law enforcement agency identified him as the subject of the photo. He has never been identified as the subject of the photo by anyone reputable; and wouldn't be, because it is not his image. It's not him.

He has no ties to "gay porn" as you are tweeting now, except the one you are giving him by linking him to a picture that you have no foundation for declaring is Pryor.

Anonymous said...

There are no "multiple law enforcement officials" charged with investigating that photo, or any official finding that this image was pryor. There may have been people who thought it MIGHT have been, but there is only the most superficial resemblance to support it, as discussed above, and indeed it is not him and can't be. The facial features and hair part rule out that nude picture as his image.

You are putting this out there as a fact, when there is no reasonable basis to do so.

Anonymous said...

It is not possible to change a natural part. The growth pattern never alters. Pryor wears his hair naturally. The kid depicted in the photo was obviously wearing a natural part.

Actors and models and entertainers who are called on to alter their appearance or fit an image may temporarily wear their hair differently, but Pryor would have no reason to change his part from one side of the head to the other, there would be no point in it.

And that doesn't even address the facial features, which differ substantially.

legalschnauzer said...

@7:01 -- still sticking with your hair part story, no matter how ridiculous it gets? A simple Google search will tell you it is easy to change the part in your hair. And that's not a kid, it's an adult college student. If you wish to discuss further, my phone number is above and my email address is on the front page of the blog. Contact me directly and make a real argument or give it a rest because you aren't fooling anyone at the moment.

legalschnauzer said...

@6:50 -- more weak stuff. I've got interviews on tape with law enforcement officials who investigated this, real people, with names, and expertise, and knowledge -- all of which you do not have. Again, feel free to contact me directly and attempt to support your bogus claims. Otherwise, give it a rest. Is that clear, Jessica?

legalschnauzer said...

Memo to @9:07 --

Sounds to me like you are on the verge of becoming unhinged. I've invited you to contact me directly and share your credentials and analysis, but you won't do it. I can only assume that's because you are a fraud who doesn't know what he/she is talking about. I also assume you know the nude photo is of Pryor, but you have a vested interest in trying to con the public into thinking otherwise. I've given you an opportunity to contact me, ID yourself, and state your case, but you won't do it. Instead, you continue to pout and whine like a 6 year old. Either stand up for yourself or give it a rest.

Not sure why you keep sending the same garbage comment over and over again. It's not going to be published here because I know it's BS. I also know you are a fraud. You were "Sarah" the other day, claiming you had communicated with me via e-mail, but when asked to provide evidence of that claim, you couldn't do it. That, of course, is because it never happened. A suggestion: Either contact me via phone or e-mail or take your circus act elsewhere. I'm not interested in a word you have to say. Your credibility rating here is sub-zero.
