Roger Shuler Named on AlterNet's "10 Most Appalling Failures of the American Justice System This Year"

This is Carol, Roger's wife. As reported here in recent days, Legal Schnauzer publisher Roger Shuler made the list of jailed journalists compiled by the Committee to Protect Journalists each December. Per the CPJ's article, "CPJ’s list is a snapshot of those incarcerated at 12:01 a.m. on December 1, 2013. It does not include the many journalists imprisoned and released throughout the year; accounts of those cases can be found at www.cpj.org. Journalists remain on CPJ’s list until the organization determines with reasonable certainty that they have been released or have died in custody." Here is a link to the CPJ list: CPJ 2013 Prison Census

In a census that is normally about jailed journalists in oppressive countries such as Turkey, Iran and China, the unlawful detention of American journalist Roger Shuler in the U.S. is truly a disgrace to our country and shows just have far we have sunk as a nation. Imprisoned for speaking out about corruption in America and Alabama at the highest levels, Shuler is making worldwide news in a variety of media venues because it is so uncommon for an American to make this list. Per the CPJ, Shuler is the only journalist unlawfully jailed in the Americas on a list of 211 journalists from around the globe.

In another important news development, Roger Shuler's first amendment case was cited in an article featured on the AlterNet website Dec. 25. The article was written by Nicole Flatow of ThinkProgress. Here is a link to the AlterNet article: 10 Most Appalling Failures of the American Justice System This Year.

In her AlterNet article Ms. Flatow writes, "Every year, stories emerge that serve as a reminder that the American system of justice means injustice for too many, with some receiving little or no punishment for egregious offenses, while others receive harsh or faulty punishment for much less. Here are some of the worst injustices of 2013."

Flatow goes on to cite Roger Shuler's case as number one on her list:
"1. An Alabama blogger is still sitting in a jail cell for exercising his First Amendment rights
Blogger Roger Shuler drew the ire of the powers that be when he continued to write about the alleged extramarital affair of a prominent lawyer rumored to be running for Congress. The lawyer and son of former Alabama governor Bob Riley, Robert Riley, Jr., won a temporary restraining order that prohibited Shuler from writing anything about Riley’s alleged extramarital affair and other related stories. The order itself was almost certainly a violation of First Amendment law. But Alabama officials took the dispute a step further when they pursued him for a traffic stop and arrested him for contempt. In spite of advocacy from the ACLU and others, Shuler has now been in a jail cell for two months for his journalism."
According to AlterNet website,"Nicole Flatow is the Deputy Editor of ThinkProgress Justice. Previously, she was Associate Director of Communications for the American Constitution Society. Nicole has also worked for several legal and general circulation newspapers, including The Daily Record and The New York Law Journal, and was a legal fellow at Bread for the City, where she represented low-income D.C. residents in housing and public benefits matters. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and her B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Law from Binghamton University, where she was editor in chief of her campus newspaper."

Consider this: A mother of six and nine year old kids sat in a lawn chair next to her house watching her kids ride scooters in the driveway and cul-de-sac on which they live.

Normally, this would be an idyllic picture. But not in America. A neighbor, who apparently did not see the watching mother, called the police to report that two young children were outside playing without adult supervision. Note that the next door neighbor, a woman, did not bother to go next door to speak with the mother of the children and express her concern that they children were not being monitored while they played.

The neighbor called the police. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/mom-sues-polices-she-arrested-letting-her-kids-134628018.html

“We’re here for you,” the cops told the mother, who was carried off in handcuffs and spent the next 18 hours in a cell in prison clothes.

TRAGICALLY, we went into the 'Clinton Global Initiative', in 1996, America was basically hijacked via the IMF-Biz-Fed.

Riley Clan-Cult are agents for the new system which, is derivative-algorithm trading of flesh, in essence.

Roger's signature, birth, social security number, credit, are all now in the system of JAIL. Jail uses his "Intellectual Property" over and over to TRADE in the global 'market' that is free for those that made this horror up.

Judges don't have any retirement - Transnationals aren't profiting the American 'PERS'.

Gulag U$A.

Gitmo was part of the new set-up.

Isn't going away, we must get our money sovereignty returned, see KAREN HUDES new video recording December 13, 2013, or thereabouts.

Alabama and the other states that have already become also NAZI, do not give one iota about "U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights', Declaration of Independence, Consumer Protection ALL 18 Titles", Et Cetera.

Karen Hudes is quite bold, courageous and clear. Orly Taitz is in the same 'Ivy League' as Karen and on the same page.

GET IN TOUCH with both Karen and Orly, Mrs. Schnauzer.

Ms. Shuler: If you have not already; please for your records take time to do the following:

A court reporter while court is in session is required for transcribing for the official court records, especially when involving a criminal case where the defendant already is, subject to be, incarcerated.

Roger has had that one court appearance before this judge; there should have been a court reporter with him, here again very important in the fact that Roger is pro se.

Telephone this judge's office and request a copy; if response[s] anything other but accommodating then send him a certified letter via registered U.S. Mail allowing for 14 days his response your lawful/legal request; or explanation as to why not.

In the meantime contact the AOC, Alabama Administrative Office of Courts inquiring procedures assigning court reporters.

If by and through Roger's next court appearance, there still hasn't been a court reporter assigned his case, for Roger to have, now 2 copies, copy upon their transcribing for his records; then repeat same including all copies applicable his case to Judge Roy Moore and too request of him to respond.

Remember, you, having a copy of everything involving Roger being in jail is imperative true; but
court reporter's transcript may be of greater value in near or distant future.

I guess I belabored above, but I know of to many individuals, "little people" the poor and minorities not knowing any better, putting their trust in the system, only to have never been afforded a court reporter.

"Bob Riley Quotes"

"One person can make a difference. In fact, it's not only possible for one person to make a difference, it's essential that one person makes a
difference. And believe it or
not, that person is you. bob riley.

Roger and Carol, former governor Riley's quote, plain and simple, speaks well for itself representative of Riley's mindset regarding "one person" making a difference.

Carol, you and Roger don't turn loose; while the rainbow is yet to be seen through these ominous clouds, historians has a place reserved for you in history, your sacrifice for the maintaining of rights and freedoms having already been fought for, and died for by others to preserve for
us today beginning over 200 years
ago will not have been in vain.

Remember Roger and Carol Shuler in our nightly prayers as we prepare for bed, while Carol home alone, Roger in a criminal environment subjected to selective persecution and "political silencing machine" tactics.

THANK GOD FOR YOU!

I'm working right now with a man who had not one record of his 'hearings', and that was by design.

The WELLS FARGO FRAUDCLOSURE didn't want this poor soul, had brain compromised by the time he was only 7 years, to understand his rights'!

The TRANSCRIPTIONS of his hearings, has put the panties in not just twisting in the wind in FREAK PORK LAND ORYGONE, the reality enema has been fully plunged into their A$$e$ and what gets out is what we know to be the greatest $hit.

ON THE RECORD: 'LAW'.

I actually believed there was a record already of the hearing, it should be an audio for all to hear TOO!?!

And of course the PUBLIC then gets to take the law into our own hands as the law stipulates.

30 PEOPLE went to the hearings of a woman in PORK LAND ORYGONE and took her hearings apart, the JUDGE LITZENBERGER has actually taken herself off the case. DUH, does not take much after 30 or more people rip the JUDGE/S into little pieces for how many violations are in the 'hearing/s'.

Thank you again RIChardo XO!! PP too
